We started the night with the Idol Top 5 finding out the results from America's votes last week. Multiple Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/producer/hitmaker Sia mentors the Top Five on songs from her repertoire, as well as perform her hit "Cheap Thrills". Honestly, I don't even know if I would have called this a "classic" rock song, but maybe that's just showing my age. Turns out, though, that La'Porsha is as comfortable as ever outside of her comfort zone. Actress and IDOL alum Katharine McPhee also returns to the stage to perform her memorable rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Sia has a fantastic voice and a stunning vocal range. She sang a cover of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" and though rock clearly isn't her thing, she still did a great job. Harry Connick Jr. said a bunch of complimentary stuff as well, of course, he obviously loves her. Keith Urban told La'Porsha she has become the total package performer. As a favorite to win - the original American Idol victor Kelly Clarkson says so - many of her fans were surprised to learn that La'Porsha stutters.
