Following the hundreds of rumors that Apple will once again be appealing to those who like to have phones that actually fit in their hands, the company announced last night the iPhone SE a 4-inch device which packs a real punch.
Well, all of that is now behind us, as Apple has finally released their official USB-C to Lightning cable. According to the Apple website, the phone's smaller size is created with an easy-to-use interface with features that make "the simplest tasks more fun".
The new phone is powered by the latest 64-bit A9 chip and M9 co-processor for the improved 12-megapixel i-Sight rear camera, similar to the one in an iPhone 6S.
The new iPhone SE that Apple has just released looks mostly the same as the iPhone 5 handset that has been released back in 2012.
While there is no word regarding pre-orders from Redington, Beetel Teletech has announced that pre-orders for the phone will open on March 29 at 12:01 AM.
The smaller iPad Pro also costs $200 less than its predecessor, while the Apple Watch's price fell from $349 to $299. Then again, the 12.9-inch model has faster data transfer and charging because its Lightning port is based on the USB 3 spec, while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro has one that uses USB 2. The iPad Pro will also be available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variant's and will be available for ordering from 31st of this month.
It will be available in four colours, including rose gold, for the first time.
Did Apple miss the bus by pricing the iPhone SE for Rs 39,000 in India? Apple also unveiled a smaller, more affordable iPad Pro which features some notable improvements over its predecessor.
