Bobbi Kristina Brown Died of Drowning and Drugs According to Autopsy Report

After a judge ordered on Thursday that the documents be unsealed, the "investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown will continue", Fulton Country District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr. said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

The manner of death is officially undetermined, as it is still unclear whether Brown's demise resulted from natural, intentional or accidental methods.

Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, has claimed that the results of her autopsy show that he was not responsible for her death.

She was placed in a medically-induced coma and died six months later in July. This means that her lungs were filled with water and her brain was injured due to how much time she was under water.

Earlier today, the Fulton County, Georgia medical examiner's office said that the official cause of death was being immersed in water and drug intoxication.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's official cause of death has been released - and it's not pretty. News originally broke of the 22-year-old being found submerged facedown in a bathtub on January 31, 2015.

As for the "public indictments and prosecution ", the legal rep is clearly referring to Bobbi's ex Nick Gordon, who they feel is involved in her drug and drowning related death.

Her mother, famed singer Whitney Houston, died in similar circumstances when she drowned in a bathtub at a Beverley Hills hotel in 2012. Now, her father Bobby Brown is speaking out.

Following Brown's death, her 22-year-old boyfriend Nick Gordon was hit with a US$10 million (NZ$14.7 million) wrongful death lawsuit from Brown's court-appointed co-conservator, Bedelia Hargrove. The full cause of death is pneumonia and encephalopathy.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's family is still grieving over her unsettling death in July, and Bobby Brown is absolutely beside himself after learning that his little girl's autopsy report has been publicized. Authorities determined that her cause of death was accidental drowning. His lawyers have branded it "slanderous and meritless" and insist it contains "several unsupported, untrue, criminal accusations " .
