Apple announced an updated version of the iPhone 5S today, the iPhone SE, short for special edition.
Apple also launched a smaller 9.7 inch iPad Pro to complement the bigger 12.9 inch version unveiled previous year.
The iPhone SE is powered by the same A9 and M9 chips as the iPhone 6s models, and it is equipped with a similar 12MP iSight camera with all the latest Apple camera technology.
Apple has made some interesting new announcements at its most-awaited event.
2GB RAM puts the iPhone SE on par with the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, both of which also include 2GB of RAM. Apple initially announced that the iPhone SE will start selling in India at Rs. 30,000, later it revised the price to Rs. 39,000, which is higher if compared to United States price, which is $399 (approximately Rs. 26,500). The phone features a 4-inch screen with 1136x640 pixel resolution at 326 ppi. Segan noted of how the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is almost the same as the iPad Air 2 in terms of size and weight, but the speakers are much more powerful. One is there are lots of people who still want a four-inch phone.
Meanwhile, the new iPad Pro is the second tablet launched within four months to garner that name.
There's NFC in the iPhone SE, allowing you to use Apple Pay for contactless payments, something the iPhone 5S cannot do. As we know that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is slower than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, there are chances that the device may even heat up soon. Preorders will start on March 24th, with availability set for March 31st.
Apple has already disclosed the price tag of the new iPhone for the Indian market. Many have been in doubt or still cannot find the reason if they will opt to upgrade for the new phone or the new IOS Operating System new version.
