Jana Duggar is the eldest Duggar daughter and at the age of 26, she's practically a spinster - in comparison to her 19 Kids & Counting siblings that is!
It appears that Jana, who infrequently appeared on the family's previous TLC docuseries, 19 Kids and Counting, will play a bigger role in this new series, focused primarily on her sisters, and it seems that the eldest Duggar daughter's love life could be the focus of upcoming episodes.
According to her younger siblings, Jana used to have a more "outgoing" personality but in the promotional clip for "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 1 episode 2, her siblings opened up on how she has changed over the years, Fashion & Style revealed. During Jill Duggar's wedding special, Jana was shown sewing nine bridesmaids dresses while the rest of her family kicked back and relaxed at an afternoon tea party.
"I want dirt under the nails", Jana told her sister Jessa while they are engaged in a DIY project while the family visits Jill and Derick who are on a mission in Latin America. While the reality star says she enjoyed the "fun things" her sister planned for her, she started to rebel as she got older. "She's just so good at that, like you could sit around and chat about something, and she's like, "Yeah, here's the plan" and starts writing it out".
Duggar smirked and replied, "I don't only cook and take care of babies".
"But I enjoy the behind-the-scenes and working on different projects", she mused.
While Jessa and Ben used to go out together on the regular before the birth of their son, they revealed that they hadn't had a date since his arrival.
They added that Josh has been feeling depressed ever since he left the facility and without his family's support trying to rebuild his life just became more difficult.
According to Jessa, it was "a romantic date location" despite its shabby appearance.
"When it comes to getting something done, you gotta get Jana involved", Jessa answered. Though they were presently focused on domestic adoption, they hope "in the future" to do worldwide adoptions as well.
Luckily for the new parents, baby Spurgeon, 4 months, slept the entire time they noshed on their tacos, and at the end of the meal, they jointly declared their outing a success.
Jana Duggar, the star of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" had a sassy comeback when she was asked by an off-camera producer during the show's latest episode if she had any outside interests other than her family.
"Counting On" returns with an all-new episode this Tuesday, March 22.
