NCIS Casts Sarah Clarke As Michael Weatherly's Replacement After Season 13 Exit

A multiple divorcée who's as sexy as she is strong, Tess has no kids so she views her fellow agents as family. She'll fight to protect the values she holds dear, and her team, with determination and a bit of sarcasm.

Best known for playing duplicitous Nina Myers on 24, Clarke has also appeared on Bosch, The Tomorrow People, Covert Affairs, Men of a Certain Age, and in the Twilight franchise. She now stars on the Amazon series, "Bosch".

"We feel so fortunate to have Sarah Clarke joining us to play Tess", NCIS show runner Gary Glasberg said in a statement. The veteran actor credits co-star Michael Weatherly, saying: "It was Michael...He played me once in a movie...He suggested that I be his father...I met the producers and the writers and they said, 'yeah, let's go!'" Wagner confirms he will return for Weatherly's final episode, but hinted about possibly doing more; "I might be coming back, I'd love to come back!" She's a gifted actress, a total pro, and we can't wait to introduce her to our NCIS family. The show is bidding farewell to longtime regular Michael Weatherly in May, who is starring in a pilot for a potential new CBS series as a young version of Dr. Phil McGraw, so Clarke's potential addition could effectively serve as a replacement Weatherly's Anthony DiNozzo.

New NCIS season 13, episode 20 official spoilers, synopsis released by CBS. The series stars Harmon as Leroy Gibbs, with Pauley Perrette as Abby Sciuto and David McCallum as Ducky Mallard. His presence is expected to pave the way for the exit of Weatherly's beloved character.

The latest episode of "NCIS" is expected to air March 22 on CBS.
