SNL trolls Donald Trump rally controversy using Ben Carson

Carson and Trump seem to have established a good relationship over the past several months, and Dr. Carson has a wealth of knowledge pertaining medicine and education, which would be helpful to any administration.

Carson attributed the turbulent episodes at Trump rallies to the deep anger animating the electorate, saying, voters are "really more at a place where Donald Trump is, because they're so frustrated, and they're angry, and they're exhausted of people trying to manipulate them".

"What I don't want to see is people just being persecuted because of what they look like", he said. "As far as Cruz is concerned, I don't think he's gonna be able to draw independents and Democrats, unless has has some kind of miraculous change", Carson explained.

CARSON: I have to look at what is practical and what is going to save this country and the American dream for the next generation. Is there another scenario I would've preferred? "Yes", he continued. "But that scenario isn't available".

Can't believe you chose to support the one candidate who mocks God and is definitely not a Christian.

"The reason I'm choosing Trump is that I'm a big picture guy", Carson told Mr. Malzberg. The other candidates in questioned happened to be Sen.

Criticism of Carson, Dees said, reminded him of the calls to crucify Jesus Christ, and urged readers to reflect on "how God's purposes might have been thwarted if Daniel had not served in Babylon, or if Joseph had not served Pharaoh".

"Now that I am leaving the campaign trail", said Carson, before his sentence was interrupted by a long audience reaction that included expressions of sorrow and an applause with shouts of respect.

His endorsement is unlikely to dramatically shift the Republican race but it gives Trump a boost as the Republican establishment cranks up attacks, and comes just days before crucial nominating contests in the battle to be the party's presidential candidate for the November 8 election.

The retired neurosurgeon offered the odd reassurance on Monday during an interview with Steve Malzberg of Newsmax TV.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump proudly presented his latest big-name endorsement in Palm Beach this morning, former rival Ben Carson. "Very disappointed in you and have lost much respect", one supporter wrote on Carson's Facebook page on Friday.

Carson: I prayed about it a lot, and I got a lot of indications, people calling me that I haven't talked to for a long time saying, I had this dream about you and Donald Trump - I mean, just fantastic things...

Whether that cushy administration role Trump is dangling in front of him is contingent on Carson not being a god-awful campaign surrogate remains unclear.

"Well, we haven't hammered out all the details", he said.
