Spider-Man shows up in new 'Captain America: Civil War' trailer

On Thursday, viewers got their first glimpse of Tom Holland, the new Spider-Man, in the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer.

Captain America: Civil War, which also stars Robert Downey, as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, reaches U.S. theatres on May 6.

Spider-Man isn't the only new Marvel Comics' character to make a prominent appearance in the trailer.

Plus, ET was exclusively on the set of Civil War, where the cast talked about hazing the new heroes and Captain America himself, Chris Evans, challenged Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to a dance-off.

The film is one of two being released by Marvel this year, with a movie centering on a new superhero, "Doctor Strange", coming out this November. It is directed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo.

WHO'S IN IT: Call this one a virtual who's who of Marvel superheroes. It's filled with fight scenes between Captain America and Iron Man, the heroes clashing, devastation and destruction, a great Ant-Man shot. He took over from Andrew Garfield of The Amazing Spider-Man series.

Civil War is the film that I cannot wait to see in 2016 and there are just a few more weeks to wait until this franchise returns to the big screen. We see the tight-knit Avengers from the first break up into factions who actually, battle each other. Hold that thought, and check out the character posters below!

War Machine Will Die- "Captain America: Civil War" may close the doors for some superheroes. And while fans will endlessly debate about whether a superhero movie plot should or should not strictly follow a particular comic book storyline, one thing that most fans don't mind seeing changed onscreen is a superhero's costume.
