Wonder Woman steals the show in Batman vs Superman

Batman v Superman- Dawn of Justice

Revealed Who would win the battle of superheroes

We already know that Batman and Superman were getting their own Hot Toys figures, but now the trinity is complete with the real star of Batman v Superman: Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Returning veterans of 2013's Man of Steel include Amy Adams as Lois Lane; Diane Lane as Superman's mom, Martha Kent; and Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White.

The importance of this moment - in a world where female comic fans fend of harassment online, where female action stars are paraded around in jumpsuits and promised female superhero movies are continually delayed and overlooked - is not to be understated. I'm not talking about its ungainliness or its pomposity (the movie shares these qualities), or even the awkward v stabbed through it like one of the Caped Crusader's little bat-shaped throwy things.

Gadot goes on to describe her take on Wonder Woman, in particular when she finds herself fighting a massive villain such as Doomsday.

"She brings something particular, something statuesque, something otherworldly to the character", said Henry Cavill, who plays Superman. The Wonder Woman that you see in "Batman v Superman" is a woman who has been around, and she's very experienced. Here, Gal Gadot's warrior princess stands alongside the women who raised her: her Amazonian mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) and her two aunts - General Antiope (Robin Wright) and Antiope's lieutenant, Menalippe (Lisa Loven Kongsli).

The actress is also the new face of Gucci's Bamboo perfume, which has us hoping that we'll be seeing more of her in Alessandro Michele's genius designs on red carpets, too. Wonder Woman, unlike her male peers, is driven by an overwhelming sense of empathy.

The first official image for the upcoming Wonder Woman film has been released. "And I think the audiences react to that". I think for this film, Warner. But she ultimately admitted to a "superpower". She's wary of Superman's unchecked power, but equally concerned about Lex Luthor's evil plot. Does anyone really want Batman to kill Superman?

In a movie as busy as this one, we can't expect that every character will be well-defined.

Now that Batman v Superman has reached theaters, Affleck can sit back and relax, because it turns out, the major problem of the movie is not his performance.

LC: I'm glad to see that a woman, Patty Jenkins, is going to direct [the Wonder Woman movie, out in 2017]. Steinem was so bothered by the regression that she chose to put the original comic book heroine on the cover of her very first issue of Ms. magazine, along with the headline: "Wonder Woman for President".
