We already know that Batman and Superman were getting their own Hot Toys figures, but now the trinity is complete with the real star of Batman v Superman: Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Returning veterans of 2013's Man of Steel include Amy Adams as Lois Lane; Diane Lane as Superman's mom, Martha Kent; and Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White.
The importance of this moment - in a world where female comic fans fend of harassment online, where female action stars are paraded around in jumpsuits and promised female superhero movies are continually delayed and overlooked - is not to be understated. I'm not talking about its ungainliness or its pomposity (the movie shares these qualities), or even the awkward v stabbed through it like one of the Caped Crusader's little bat-shaped throwy things.
Gadot goes on to describe her take on Wonder Woman, in particular when she finds herself fighting a massive villain such as Doomsday.

LC: I'm glad to see that a woman, Patty Jenkins, is going to direct [the Wonder Woman movie, out in 2017].
