Dayton stated, "Would this have happened if those passengers, the driver were white?" She replied, "I will, sir, no worries".
Earlier this week a police officer fatally shot Castile at a traffic stop while his girlfriend Diamond Reynolds and her 4-year-old daughter were with him in the vehicle. Cellphone video of his shooting was posted online and set off angry protests in Baton Rouge and beyond.
Kardashian addressed the shock and numbness she felt when watching the viral videos released following Sterling's and Castile's deaths, and she was also anxious about what she would one day tell her children-especially her son Saint. "I told him to get his hands up!" the officer shouted. But McMillon resisted those claims Friday, saying she didn't know Sterling to carry a gun and doesn't believe he had one with him the night he was shot to death. It was then that the officer opened fire, fatally striking Castile.
The bureau did not give the officers' races. Afterward, a Roseville police officer brought Reynolds home.
Ramsey County, which includes Anthony Police Department, was involved in 25 of the charges.
Dayton revealed that he has asked the Justice Department to investigate this shooting.
Castile's mother, Valerie, shared with CNN following her son's death that she had spoken with her son and daughter earlier that day, and that they had actually discussed the risk of carrying guns, as both of her children had concealed carry permits.
"Without this angel on my side, I would never have been able to make it through this", she said.
"This has to cease".
In a dramatic, impromptu news conference Thursday morning, she accused the St. Anthony, Minnesota, police of murdering Castile right before her eyes.
