Pokemon Go is setting a precedent as the most successful reality game app on the market.
That is staggering when you think about it, but now it's time to get to business: New Pokemon Go updates.
While they have released patches for both iOS and Android users, many players are unaware that they need to manually revoke the game's "Full Access" status before they can reset the app's permissions to "Basic" (wherin they can only access your name and email address).
Meanwhile, Niantic Labs, the company behind Pokémon Go, is working to fix the design flaw in the app that say it requesting access to all of a user's Google account information, with the power to also change it.

"If Pokemon Go's initial public reception is anything to go by, its ability to draw players from multiple generations and varied gaming backgrounds together is a game worthy of attention", said Miguel Concepcion.
A statement released this morning confirmed the game was now live in Britain.
The game, which is free to download, displays virtual Pokemon on a map of the real world, using what's called augmented reality.
South of the border, police in the US have cautioned players that trespassers could get arrested or worse, especially if they cross paths with an armed property owner.
"It's the same as distracted driving, the same as texting and driving, but this could even be more unsafe in causing you to look away from the roadway longer than a text would", he said.
"(If you are) able to enjoy your childhood again by just downloading the app, why not give it a try?" he said.
He said: "I'm looking forward to losing some weight (by walking around catching Pokemons) and bumping into strangers, knowing they are there for the same reason I am - to catch 'em all!"
"But there are dangers in the real world, and as the NSPCC said yesterday, it's important that the right safety features are in place".
