Claudio Bravo will make his Manchester City debut in next month's derby

The Chile worldwide completed a £13.75million move from Barcelona to City this week and was expected to be installed immediately as Pep Guardiola's new number one.

Guardiola said: "We're going to speak about the situation in the last days".

Claudio Bravo's debut for Manchester City is set to come in the most high-profile match of the English Premier League season: The Manchester derby.

Manchester City recruit Claudio Bravo penned an open and heartfelt farewell letter to everyone associated with Barcelona, a club who will always have a place in his heart. "He has a lot of experience in Spain and in the national team".

"We still have one training session, but the situation is that after this game we have a couple of weeks and the temptation is not to play them because is it worth the risk?"

Guardiola is likely to revert back to Caballero for Sunday's home game with West Ham, after confirming Bravo would not play, but he reiterated his desire to find a solution for Hart that suits all parties. The 29-year-old has been key to City securing two Premier League titles during his time with the club, showing both brilliant goalkeeping ability and excellent leadership skills. I spoke to Claudio and he's going to be a good player for us.

"We want the best for him and, of course, the club is going to help him get the best solution for him", Guardiola explained.

Guardiola made clear he wanted his goalkeeper to play a key role in build-up play by being a good distributor with his feet.

"It is not easy to leave a club like Barcelona where I had two fantastic years, but the opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola was too good to refuse", Bravo told City's website. Klopp however, like his Merseyside neighbour Ronald Koeman, has shown little interest so far, preferring to stand by Simon Mignolet despite conceding three goals on the opening day to Arsenal followed by the 2-0 loss to Burnley last weekend. "I've played with him a few times and it just seems to click".

He added: "I know he's a left-back but how he played against Sunderland and against Steaua at home, as a central defender it's hard to find a better one than him".

"I spent most of my life there".

"They will check our level, our current level. We have to put up with that because it is the draw and we will have to face it".
