Chris Hardwick Sums Up 'The Walking Dead' In One Simple Word

Few characters have undergone as much of a transformation as Eugene, from the self-serving coward who tricked Abraham and his crew into protecting him to a survivor who can stand on his own feet.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick wrote a forward for Entertainment Weekly's Ultimate Guide to the Walking Dead (which is on sale now).

Gurira also said that the loss of a child is something one does not want to experience. "It makes us up our game because we're able to tell stories on multiple levels, depending on how engaged the audience is in the entire Walking Dead experience".

We start in season one where we meet Rick and his wife and son and learn the first lesson of The Walking Dead - "Zombies are not called zombies" but are known as walkers. Reedus mentioned to Travers that season seven is one of those seasons that's just "pure suffering", and noted that it's, "an emotionally draining show sometimes".

As for what to expect on "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Yahoo reported that the upcoming season of the series will have 16 episodes and will premiere this October 23. The only thing we know for sure is someone is getting killed, but what about beyond that? Our main group - consisting of Rick, his son Carl, the katana-wielding Michonne, Glenn, a pregnant Maggie and others - realize they're not alone in their hunt for survival. "Over the course of their harrowing journey, the women go on to face many dangers and learn what they need to survive", a press release teased. Are Carol and Morgan coming to the rescue?

Are you ready for The Walking Dead season 7? "And, most important, thanks to those fans for breathing life into this remarkable series right along with us", Charlie Collier added.
