IMAX Theater at Indiana State Museum hosts Harry Potter movie marathon

Thankfully, 2016 has brought forth a wealth of new "Potter" content, from the hit sequel play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" to the upcoming prequel film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", due out in November.

So, when you revisit the on-screen magic that is the Harry Potter franchise, you become a part of the very tapestry of IMAX, and, in a sense, cinematic history. So if you'd understandably rather skip the first two films in the series, you could totally go for two Day Access passes or individual tickets to enjoy the rest. Warner Bros. said on October 3, 2016, that all 8 Harry Potter films will be re-released in theaters for a one-week run beginning October 13, 2016. Between the patronus quiz that launched on Pottermore a few weeks ago and the impending release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, we're reaching fever-levels of Harry Potter hype.

Kicking off the weeklong Harry Potter engagement will be a global fan event on October 13 celebrating the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. You'll have to stay tuned to the website to get more details on the various ticket packages and showtimes for the rest of this week-long engagement at select IMAX theaters.

Tickets will be available as single tickets, day access (three or more shows in a single day), four-show access anf festival access (unlimited admitteance). There will also be an "exclusive peek" at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the showings.

This press release contains forward looking statements that are based on IMAX management's assumptions and existing information and involve certain risks and uncertainties which could cause actual results to differ materially from future results expressed or implied by such forward looking statements.
