Authorities say four children have died in a house fire north of Indianapolis.
Amber Flora, a friend of the mother injured in the fire, said this news brought her to her knees a couple of times on Monday.
Which makes the two first responders who were injured trying to save the children heroes in Flora's book. State Fire Marshal Jim Greeson inspected the scene himself and consulted with investigators.
The fire was apparently concentrated to the first floor of the home, according to the CBS Indy report.
There's no word on how badly the woman or officers are injured or on what caused the fire.
