The Birmingham Mail reports that West Bromwich Albion are closely monitoring the veteran Serb's situation at Chelsea while Zenit St Petersburg negotiate a potential return to Russian Federation for the former Lokomotiv Moscow hard man.
It is believed that West Brom are keen to sign the 32-year-old on loan for the remainder of the campaign while West Ham, Everton and Leicester are also interested in the defender.
Antonio Conte has revealed that Branislav Ivanovic will not start for Chelsea against Brentford in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie and admitted he does not know whether the Serbia worldwide will leave Stamford Bridge in January.
Chelsea will be playing Brentford tomorrow on the fourth round of the FA Cup, and a good number of youngster could be making their first Chelsea appearance of the season. When pressed on whether Chelsea's vice-captain is injured, he added: "He's in the list, not injured".
Antonio Conte has removed the defender from his first-team plans but Tony Pulis's West Bromwich Albion could offer the flawless lifeline.
Ivanovic has not started a Premier League game since the defeat at Arsenal towards the end of September, having lost his place in Conte's 3-4-3 formation to Victor Moses.

On Ivanovic, Conte said: "I don't know the chances". When I switched to three at the back, something changed, for sure, I have to make decisions as I can pick only 11 players.

"If that happens I'll be happy, if it didn't happen I'll continue in this way".
