Pro Bowl Dodgeball, Drone Drop Actually Were Pretty Cool, Entertaining

Even without numerous league's top players, what is wrong with the NFL Pro Bowl?

"Von Miller was a little too excited to play dodge ball", said McCoy, "so I'm going to stay out of his way". I'm guessing that next year, instead of the NFC, the National Football League will probably have the AFC compete against a team of actual bears.

Each conference fielded 10 players for the game, and the NFC quickly proved superior at the three-minute schoolyard contest.

The NFL is clearly trying to generate more interest in Pro Bowl festivities and this event could do the trick. He claims to still have a VHS copy of Buccaneer great Warren Sapp and longtime Viking John Randle - both now Hall of Famers - squaring off in a Pro Bowl skills battle.

The NFL introduced the skills competition back to Pro Bowl week and chose to change things up from the old days when Larry Allen would just bench press 225 pounds a million times by the beach.

For the first year in quite a while, there will be skills competitions to go along with the game. Tyreek Hill is also there so he should smoke anyone in the relay challenge if that's a race.

There was also a drone drop where drones dropped footballs from the sky and wide receivers had to catch the balls from continually increasing heights.

And no one has noted that Smith was the quarterback during the receivers' "Best Hands" competition, and the AFC won that particular game. Landry beat out Odell Beckham with a time of 52.6, besting his former LSU teammates by two-tenths of a second and giving the AFC an early lead in the process.

The Pro Bowl's Skills Showdown is set to air tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
