The Whitefish Bay Jewish Community Center was evacuated this morning after an email threat.
This is just one of many recent threats to the Jewish community worldwide. The DeWitt center was put on lockdown for some time while police investigated a non-specific threat of violence.
"We will find whoever is responsible for this and bring them to justice", Cuomo said.
When a threat came in last Tuesday, authorities indicated that they were looking to see whether the threat was connected to several other threats made to JCC's and other Jewish institutions at around the same time.
There have been similar incidents at Jewish centres across North America.
The Jewish Community Center (JCC) is shut down once again due to an email threat on the facility.
"As a member of the Jewish community and the greater community of our city, I thought it was important we show support for our community and let people know we'll stand up against hate and bigotry any day", East said. "NY is one family, and an attack on one is an attack on all".
New Yorkers can also call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
After the first bomb threat of the week, the center had opened its doors to those who lost power in a winter storm blanketing the Northeast.
