Drake Finally Releases "More Life"…Was It Worth The Wait?

After months of delays, Drake has finally released his long-awaited project, More Life.

The self-described "playlist" with 22 tracks, was premiered on Drake's OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1 on Saturday evening, just like Drake announced "Views".

As beneficial as exclusive content may be to streaming services like Apple Music or Tidal, restricting the size of one's audience isn't always a winning strategy for those on the production side (i.e., artists and labels).

The "musical project" was supposed to be released soon after the announcement but Drake's busy schedule prevented him from finish the project in time. But on their supposed collaboration Get It Together, J. Lo's vocals are replaced by the rising United Kingdom singer Jorja Smith. Just really excited. I had a great tour, I had a great summer. "Be with the people again".

This has lead fans to argue that "More Life" isn't technically an album in the traditional sense.

On "Two Birds, One Stone", Drake fired subliminal shots at Kid Cudi and Pusha T, causing Cudi to clap back with a confrontational response on Twitter.

Recent reports suggested More Life would arrive on various streaming platforms. "Portland" (feat. Quavo and Travis Scott) 12. For every moody piano riff, there's an uptempo groove or Young Thug voice crack to overwhelm it and reset the music's cool exuberance. The playlist features collaborations with musicians such as Kanye West and UK-based performers like Skepta.
