Queens ranked 14th in health outcomes among 62 NY counties, according to a report released by County Health Rankings and Roadmaps on Wednesday.
The overall rankings in health factors represent what influences the health of a county.
Meanwhile, Loudon County, Farifax County and Arlington County were the first, second and third healthiest in the state, respectively. But county health officials said the real story is the county's improvement since 2011, when it was 12th.

The report also shows that one-in-five New Mexicans, or 20 percent, report their health as fair or poor, compared with a USA median of 16 percent, according to the 2017 County Health Rankings and Roadmaps.
Wyoming County has an adult obesity rate of 39 percent, and an adult smoking rate of 25 percent.
Florida's healthiest top five counties are: St. John's, Collier, Sarasota, Seminole and Martin.
