A year after Josh Sitton signed with the Chicago Bears, T.J. Lang's agent tweeted Sunday that his client has agreed to a three-year contract with the Detroit Lions.

Lang recently called into 7 Sports Cave in Detroit and said he narrowed his choice of teams to the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers and Lions, but wouldn't be making a rash decision.

Lang will be 30 years old for most of the 2017 season, but he has been durable for much of his career. That apparently was a plus for the Lions as Lang grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and played college football at Eastern Michigan. Lang has chose to come home and join the Detroit Lions. "I was no different and when this opportunity came about I got really excited about it". But has spent his entire career with Green Bay since the Packers drafted him in the fourth round in 2009.

TJ Lang is signing with the Lions, per source.

Lang, 29, made the Pro Bowl last season after not allowing a single sack or quarterback hit, which is pretty remarkable.

Lang's agent confirmed the three-year deal on Sunday. In addition to the foot injury, Lang underwent hip surgery in late January. And along with big-ticket right tackle Rick Wagner (who replaced Riley Reiff), gives Detroit a strong side of the line.

"I'm ready to get it done with", Lang told WXYZ early Sunday.

Adding Lang completes general manager Bob Quinn's overhaul of the team's offensive line in little more than a year.
