Yaya Toure's agent says he could leave Manchester City for Manchester United

Toure says his preference is to stay at City

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure expects exit, open to United - agent

Yaya Toure's agent has claimed they would discuss a move with Manchester United if they made an offer in the summer transfer window. Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a very good coach.

He then revealed that he had "no problem" with facilitating a move for Toure to join City's arch-rivals Manchester United, but knows that the Citizens hierarchy would not be happy if the decorated midfielder rocked up at Old Trafford.

'Definitely. I love this football club, ' Toure replied when asked if he wanted to stay on at City. "But we can not wait until the last minute". We waited until March 15 for what Manchester City will say but until now Manchester City don't say anything. Now we have three options. I'm not talking about China or the Major Soccer League. I have spoken with clubs in different countries - Italy and Spain.

We took a look at how Liverpool fans reacted on social media.

Toure has previously said, if he is to leave City, that he would prefer to stay in the Premier League.

Toure apologised publically for Seluk's comments and marked his City recall with a match-winning brace at Crystal Palace. The Ivory coast star has two months and a half left in his contract with the Premier League giants and Pep Guardiola is not going to offer him a contract extension.

With the relationship eventually patched up by an apology to Guardiola, Toure fought his way back into the City team and that is where he is determined to stay. After that, if Manchester City want, they can start negotiations. Before March, we didn't negotiate with anybody because Yaya does a lot with Manchester City, so we waited. From the beginning of the season until now we have always showed we want to attack and score goals, that is the most important thing. "But tomorrow, for example, if we heard [from] Chelsea, he will sign with Chelsea".
