The Chappelle's Show creator was in attendance at a John Mayer concert at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio and was invited on stage by the pop singer.

The tragic death of Charlie Murphy has hit fans and loved ones hard, but most are honoring his life by celebrating his brilliant work throughout the years.

Chappelle joined Mayer during a concert in OH last month, and the two of them reflected on Murphy's life and contributions to the world of comedy.

"Who the (expletive) could make up" those events, Murphy asked at the end of the sketch.
