Gorillaz announce first North American tour in seven years

It's been 7 years since Gorillaz have done any sort of touring, so that's why today's announcement that the band is playing the Fox Theatre during a huge North American tour is so exciting. That's the bad news. If you've been keeping up, you know some of the festival stops have already been announced.

Tickets for the III Points Festival, returning October 13-15 to Mana Wynwood, will go on sale at midnight Friday, April 21, via IIIPoints.com, and will cost $111 plus taxes for a three-day general admission pass and $245 for VIP.

Even better, tickets purchased online for select dates listed above will receive a choice of either a standard physical or standard digital copy of Humanz. Details are on the band's website.

The tour is named after their new record, set to be released on April 28.
