Nokia 6 Starts Receiving Android 7.1.1 These Days

Nokia 6 (which is now running on Android 7.0 Nougat) is apparently receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat in China through OTA (Over The Air) update before going global.

HMD Global made it pretty clear that it will roll out the monthly security patches alongside software updates quite regularly to all of its phones.

Can Nokia and BlackBerry stand on their own, or is it all hype and nostalgia? Other rumoured features of Nokia 9 include the company's OZO audio technology, an iris scanner, Android 7.1.2 Nougat and IP68 certification.

The changelog reveals that the build number for the software update is 00CN_3_170.

The Nokia 6 has been crafted from aluminum and houses a Snapdragon 430 processor.

The Nokia 6 also has a 16-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. Speaking of storage capacity, it has 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal memory, besides having the option of an expandable memory of up to 128GB through microSD. The smartphone also houses a 3,000 mAh battery.
