After the romantic number Baarish, the makers of Half Girlfriend have released another soulful number, Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga, from the music album of the film on Tuesday, April 18.

Fans have been waiting for the song so badly that the makers chose to release the song prior to the planned date, reports Hindustan Times.

Half Girlfriend is a romance drama which revolves around a small town boy Madhav Jha played by Arjun, who falls in love with an uptown Delhi girl Riya Somani played by Shraddha.

"Sharing the song with her social media followers, Shraddha wrote, "#PhirBhiTumkoChahunga #HalfGirlfriend #19thMay When there are no boundaries, there is unconditional love". Mithoon, Arijit and I are overwhelmed by all the love'.

Crooned by Arijit Singh and Shashaa Tirupati, this second track from the upcoming flick is penned by Manoj Muntashir. You will be surprised to know that Main Phir Bhi Tumko was a nazm which Manoj wrote in 2001 when he was on a Kashmir tour. Just so that he could get the dialect and mannerisms right, he interacted with the localities there. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat, Half Girlfriend is a cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. This is the first time Arjun and Shraddha are teamed up together for a film. Watch the Half Girlfriend movie Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga song here. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 19 May 2017.
