Victoria Baptist Church, 54 County Road 210, Jack, will hold Vacation Bible School July 10-14, 6-8 p.m. Family night will be held Friday at 6 p.m. Missing Link recovery group meets at 8 p.m. every Wednesday in the parsonage parish hall.

■ Rouse's Abundant Life Ministries, 7162 N.C. 903 South, Ayden, will host Pastor Mahalia Henry of High Rock Grove Church at 4 p.m. July 16.

"We're calling all children from preschool to grade five to come join us for an amazingly cool adventure with songs, crafts, games, food and goodies and dramas and Bible stories", a church spokesperson said.

The VBS is open to children ages 3 through sixth grade. Youth camp will be held from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. July 19-21. For more information, call (276)-673-6355. Music starts at 7 p.m. The church also asks that people bring one can of food to help the pantry, which feeds more than 500 people each month.

Grace Community UMC: 1213 Central Ave., Chester, holds Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School and Youth Class are 9:30 a.m. Pastor John Lewis, Sr. delivers the message "The Promise of Paradise" (St. Luke 23:39-43).

Church Without Walls, with Elder Moses and Lady Shawan Barr, will be in fellowship at Christ Miracle Temple, 932 Arnett Blvd., Danville, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Church Picnic, 11 a.m. -2 p.m., August 5, New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, 458 Johnson Naylor, Ga. The speaker will be Danielle Hairston Edmonds, formerly of Martinsville and now a teacher in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The following churches will host Bible schools in the coming weeks. That will be held at Mount Zion United Holy Church, 461 Figsboro Road, at a cost of $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. An interesting note, Dr. Danny Lanier, who is now pastor of Northcrest Baptist Church in Meridian served his first pastorate at Mt. The service starts at 3 p.m.

■ Haddock Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1548 Ivy Road, Winterville, will have men's day service at 11 a.m. Sunday.

McCabe Memorial Baptist Church, 107 Clearview Drive in Martinsville, will hold a free community meal on Wednesday.
