Homicide detectives have taken four men into custody after a woman was found dead inside a Melbourne serviced apartment.
A woman who was found dead in a hotel room after a buck's party in Melbourne was a member of the Australian Defence Force, it is believed.
The men were part of a group from Sydney and the ACT who were in the city celebrating a Bucks weekend.
Authorities were called to the hotel about 8am on Sunday. Another witness told the paper she saw one of the men being led from the building in handcuffs by Police but was not resisting.
Police say the exact circumstances surrounding her death are unknown and the four men are now being interviewed.
She is believed to be aged in her late 20s or early 30s, and was found dressed in a long-sleeved black top, blue denim shorts and white runners.
Other women who stayed at the apartment overnight said they hadn't heard anything suspicious until the sound of sirens at 8am.
Initially the homicide squad was investigating, but police now say the woman's death was not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
