After one gets a reply to his/her story, one will get a message in his/her inbox. Instagram has worked hard to market the Story feature and the existing user base must have helped with the increasing popularity. For example, if you're watching a friend's Story and want to reply to something in particular, you can tap the camera button, shoot a reply, then get back to finishing the Story.
Instagram is boosting Stories with an interesting new feature: ability to send photo or video replies to Stories from the people you are following.
When a user's friend replies to their story with a photo or video, they will find it in their inbox where they can tap to view it. After tapping it, Instagram's camera will come up and let you craft a reply just like it were any other story entry, complete with face filters, stickers, hashtags, and so on.
Instagram is improving its Stories feature once again.
Instagram Stories are the chronological collections of photos and videos that users can add to over a 24-hour period to tell the story of their day. However, taking a screenshot or replaying a response will send a notification to friends.
First and foremost, you'll need to head to the app store to check for updates.
Along with this feature, Instagram also introduced a special sticker for the Story itself.
