This new trailer seems to confirm that theory, one which has been pushed forth by Blade Runner director Ridley Scott. In order to help with this conundrum, K goes out to find Rick Deckard, as played by Harrison Ford once again, the officer the first film followed.
Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling as K, a cop in futuristic LA who unearths a long-buried secret that threatens to destroy society. Now here is another trailer for the much-anticipated sequel, which is due out October 6. Has Blade Runner 2049 already tipped its hand as to it's basic plot? It's that which sends him on a search for Deckard, who has been missing for three decades. Although the trailer doesn't say exactly, Ford's character does share that "we were being hunted".

The Denis Villeneuve-directed Blade Runner 2049 just got a second trailer, so you can now see numerous same exquisitely stylized scenes...from slightly different angles, and a slightly more robust portrait of the characters you've already glimpsed. Some of them are featured in the trailer, with Leto seemingly someone who makes replicants.
