On June 12, two civilians were martyred and three injured in Indian troops' unprovoked firing with heavy weapons in Jandrot and Hotspring (Tattapani) sectors along the LoC.

Pakistan on Saturday accused longtime rival India of killing at least two civilians, including a girl by "unprovoked" firing along the Line of Control - a de facto border that divides the disputed Kashmir valley between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
After the militant attack, army men laid siege around the area and conducted combing and search operation to nab the attackers.
The latest clashes erupted on the death anniversary of militant commander Burhan Wani who was killed in Kashmir a year ago.
