Authorities arrived at the Peachtree Crossings mobile home park to find three victims dead from gunshot wounds, police said.

According to Gardendale Police, 51-year-old Kenneth Dion Lever shot two women and one man in a mobile home park, fled the scene and is considered armed and unsafe.

A Lincoln Navigator included in previous vehicle descriptions has been located in Florida and is no longer suspected, Walker said.

Crime Scene: Police issued a shelter-in-place alert for Gardendale on Wednesday morning, but now say they believe the shooter has fled the area.

Gardendale Police Chief Mike Walker has identified the victims in Wednesday's slayings as 50-year-old Dana Reeves Lever. "Police looking for Kenneth Dion Lever 5'10" 220 lbs, considered armed & risky.

Authorities are searching for an armed man following a shooting at an Alabama mobile home community near Birmingham. A perimeter was set up mid-morning Wednesday up by multiple police agencies that have responded to the shootings.

"Gardendale Police Department is looking for Kenneth Dion Lever w/m 51, 5'10", 220, blu, bro, 6-15-65. The girl, according to public records, had been seeing a therapist and the therapist called the mother with concerns.

Separately, court records in York County, Pennsylvania, show Lever is scheduled to go on trial there on sexual abuse charges on September 11.

Lever was charged by Lower Windsor Township Police, York County, Pa., on September 28, 2015 and October 13, 2015 in two separate sexual assault cases, according to records obtained by The York Daily Record.

Lever was placed in York County Prison on October 12, 2015, on the first case on a $100,000 bond, but was able to get bailed out. A woman claimed he was abusing her 11-year-old daughter before filing the order.

The cases are scheduled for jury trial in York County Court of Common Pleas on September 11, according to online court dockets.
