The trailer, which provides the first look at Ava DuVernay's highly anticipated adaptation of the popular children's book, was released on Saturday, and fans are going to love this preview.

A colourful, mind-bending new trailer has been released for the upcoming Disney film A Wrinkle in Time which was partly shot in New Zealand.

Winfrey admitted that, like DuVernay, she hadn't read the book as a child, but was instantly drawn to the role that DuVernay described as the wisest woman in the world, an "angelic, celestial being who was going to get to wear unbelievable costumes and work with Reese and Mindy as a part of the Mrs. Team...who wouldn't say yes to that?"

Now I want to plunge through a wrinkle in spacetime to get to August 18 of next year, when A Wrinkle in Time materializes in theaters, but that sort of thing hasn't made it past science fiction or exotic theories. Yet.
