As 9to5Mac notes, not every feature will be included in the iPhone 8, but at least, Apple is working on a feature which will allow users to mute notifications when they are looking at the phone.

A video uploaded on Thursday, August 10 offers a close-up with an alleged "iPhone 8" design dummy in "copper gold", potentially one of just three color options for Apple's upcoming flagship, AppleInsider says.

Some Twitter users are awaiting the new iPhone with anticipation while others are not impressed. That means the phone does not work, and we'll have to wait for Apple's September iPhone event to see how iOS 11 actually looks like on the iPhone 8.

As for colors, other leaks suggest that first buyers will get to choose between black, white, and gold iPhones. The person who found it, Steve Troughton-Smith, said of the discovery, "These are the metrics used by the status bar on the edge-to-edge iPhone, including notch height and ear width".

He said the iPhone8 launch date will be right in line and right on the same day as the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, although it is expected to be available in limited quantities.

Maksim Petriv, an Interactive UI and UX designer at NY firm Design Hunt, tried to reimagine popular apps like Instagram, Twitter, and Spotify, as well as Apple's own Music service.

The screen of the iPhone 8 should also be better than the iPhone 7's. It is even larger than the iPhone 7 Plus' 5.5-inch display. Expected to feature a bezel-less screen, wireless charging and no buttons, it will bring so many bits of technology we've been waiting for Apple to implement.

UX designer Maksim Petriv has created some mockups showing different approaches Apple could take to cope with the notch, and how these might look in different apps.
