A month ago, Blizzard announced Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne, the latest add-on for the developer's popular digital card game. The offer is limited to one per account, and card packs will be available to open once the expansion launches.
Following Journey to Un'Goro, Blizzard is releasing the next expansion in Hearthstone's Year of Mammoth with Knights of the Frozen Throne. His hero power has also been changed, you can either put plus three attack or plus three armor on him. Playing through these will earn you free packs from the new set. This time around Hearthstone players will be venturing into the frozen north to take on the Lich King and his minions at Icecrown Citadel. Finally, this is the first expansion that includes so-called Missions, a new type of free single-player content. Successfully completing each of these Missions will reward players three Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs, as well as a random Legendary Death Knight Hero card.
Among all the new cards are a new type called "hero cards", which are legendary cards for each class, and will turn heroes into their death knight version with new abilities.
Place talks about two new hero cards in the video posted below, Malfurion the Pestilent, and Uther of the Ebon Blade.
In today's reveal, you'll find the Rogue Death Knight, new cards for Priest, Shaman, Druid, and Warlock, and a few others besides.
