Temperatures appear to be sticking in the upper 70s and lower 80s throughout much of the week as well. A subtropical ridge of high pressure will also strengthen over the area. But, on Thursday afternoon, most of us get a thunderstorm or shower.
The threat for storms comes in the afternoon and evening, but thankfully none should become severe, according to the Storm Prediction Center.
Temperatures will continue to warm into the week working towards above average temperatures. A mix of sun and clouds will last throughout the day for some and sunny skies for others. Light Northwest wind shifts Easterly later in the day. We start on the low end of the 80s on Monday.

Tonight will see increasing clouds with a low around 62. Scattered showers and storms will decrease in coverage this evening with most places dry by the mid to late evening hours.
Friday: Periods of rain and showers.
Skies will be mostly sunny this morning into the afternoon with high temperatures reaching the lower 80s. Highs Wednesday through next weekend will be in the upper 80s to around 90°.
