There's something inexplicably attractive about a flip phone, whether it's being able to hang up a call by slamming it shut, or being able to break out your T9 texting skills again. The Korean giant has announced two flip phones in the country - Galaxy Folder 2 and G9298 aka Leadership 8. The Leader 8 looks exactly like what we were expecting, meaning that there's two 4.2-inch Super AMOLED displays (one on the inside and one outside), a 12MP camera on the back with an f/1.7 aperture, a fingerprint scanner below that, and a physical number pad once you flip open the device.
Furthermore, the phone has a 12 Megapixel of Primary camera along with a 5 Megapixel of front facing camera for selfies and video calling. This flip phone has 64GB of built-in storage along with a support for Micro SD Card to expand it further. The device will sell through China Mobile. It's another case of Asia getting the most interesting tech. There's a 2,300mAh battery to keep the lights on. Its price in China is not announced by the company. The Samsung G-9298 measures 130.2x62.6x15.9mm and weighs 235 grams. This dual-SIM device draws fuel from a 1,950mAh battery and houses an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. Aluminum alloy high-strength anti-curvature design with metal frame and 3D glass melt on the top of the display offers rich design of the device. It runs on Android, and comes with modern features like Samsung Pay, S Voice, and all the usual Android Nougat trimmings. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor under the hood. Leader 8 users will also be able to change the background image and the style of the clock on the front display of the phone.
