Arum said the only way the Mayweather-McGregor fight will sell is if organizers cut the ticket and PPV prices.

Many fans around the world will be tuning in to watch this fight and for a handful of people, they will be lucky enough to watch the fight live on the night ringside.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.is now framing his highly anticipated fight with MMA star Conor McGregor as his own personal battle against racism.

Back in May 2015, Floyd Mayweather easily cruised to a decision victory over Manny Pacquiao in a very uneventful fight.

A 12-time world champion in five weight classes, the 40-year-old Mayweather retired undefeated in September 2015 as one of the greatest to ever set foot in the ring, buoyed by the box-office success that saw him shatter almost all of the revenue records in the sport's history.

When asked why he wasn't boldly predicting an easy win against a fighter who has never fought in a boxing ring, Mayweather pointed to his age. "The chairman and commissioners would make the determination with the health and safety of the fighters being the number-one priority".

Berto, a southpaw fighter himself, doesn't believe McGregor's stance will be as big a factor in the fight as many think. After all, he suggested in the same interview that McGregor actually has an advantage going into the fight despite the betting odds pegging Mayweather as the heavy favorite.

Mayweather added: "I'm older".

It's entirely possible Mayweather is just trying to drum up interest for this month's superfight.

Mayweather is a heavy favourite for the fight, winning all of his 49 professional bouts.

There is a special clause, however, wherein both fighters can use 8-ounce gloves if they mutually agree to it.
