Although the trailer was our first confirmation of its title and indie game emphasis, director Suda51 actually revealed both long ago - if you were paying close enough attention, that is.

It's worth noting that a lot of these games are going to be Switch-exclusive.

During the livestream, Nintendo's Head of Partner Management Damon Baker said, "just as the battle begins, the two men are inhaled by a phantom game console", which will be their only way out.

There's SteamWorld Dig 2, which will launch exclusively on Switch 21st September for £14.99. The title was spotted in one of the latest Nintendo Indie (Nindie) montages by Critical Hit, making for quite a pleasant surprise.

2017 has been a great year for video games.

Kentucky Route Zero is an episodic adventure/narrative game finally receiving its fifth and final installment. Between PC hits like Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, 3DS titles like Samus Returns, and console games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, and even upcoming releases like the Super NES Classic Edition, it's no stretch to say that there is a great game out there for nearly anyone.

There's Nintendo's Nindie showcase, and we hope you found something you like. Titles such as the remastered Monster Hunter XX are largely seen as a catalyst for the sales achieved by the six-month-old Switch.

That's right, Travis Touchdown is returning for the Switch.

Since then, the game's creators Ben Myers and Cukia Kimani have been working hard on Semblance, both in terms of its look, feel and mechanics and promoting the hell out of it; the pair have headed to numerous worldwide game jams and were at rAge last year as well as E3 and Gamescom this year. The company has been accused of deliberately limiting the production of the Switch.

Nintendo also assured fans that production will ramp up to meet the increased demand during the holiday shopping period.
