YU Yureka 2 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC launched, priced at Rs 11999

YU Televentures, a sub brand of Micromax has launched a new smartphone in the country. The phone also has 4GB RAM and 64 GB of storage.

YU Yureka 2 competes against Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, InFocus Snap 4, Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo K8 Note and others. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Yu Yureka 2 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Keeping everything running is a large 3,930 mAh battery which should offer good battery life, and when you do need to charge the phone, you will be able to do so quickly with the device supporting Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Called the Yureka 2, the smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999. It will join the company's Yureka lineup, which already includes devices like Yureka Black, Yureka S, Yureka Note and Yureka Plus. The phone also has a gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and an accelerometer.

YU offers a premium experience in the Yureka 2 with its metallic unibody, impressive camera and solid performance. The top-end model of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available for Rs 12,999. This phone is priced at Rs. 11999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting from September 20th. Additionally, Yu has included 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slots, and microSD card slot in the smartphone.

One of the major drawbacks of the YU Yureka is the fact that it still runs on Android Marshmallow.
