The defensive style used at Anfield did not go down well with football purists as United nullified Liverpool's attacking threat, while Mourinho's men failed to impress in their 1-0 win over Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The man who scored the Reds' second-half victor at the Estadio da Luz, Marcus Rashford, was later withdrawn with an apparent knock and Mourinho does not yet know the extent of the young forward's problem.
"Rashford I thought it was cramps because he was running so much, it was about muscular fatigue, but he felt something in his knee but to me it doesn't look a big thing".
Asked about Mourinho hinting he could manage PSG in future, Neville told BBC Radio 5 Live's Ian Dennis: "I think a lot has been made of his comments".
"I would say, probably in two weeks, Marcos is ready to play".
Jose Mourinho will want all his midfielders back from injury as soon as possible as his players now seem deflated. "And there is another situation, maybe I'm guilty of it: I never speak about injuries".
"I think the way to do it is to ignore the players that are injured, is to focus on the players that are available.it is to give confidence to the players that are available".
Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal last season and guided United to Europa League and EFL Cup glory but the ex-Chelsea boss and his tactics have been scrutinised following last week's goalless Premier League draw with Liverpool. We knew the Benfica pressure could not stay for 90 minutes. Twelve matches, 10 victories, two draws, nine clean sheets.
