Video taken at Thursday night's National Football League game in Charlotte shows one man sucker-punching another, and now the search is on for the suspect.

A video released on social media showed a fan wearing a Cam Newton jersey standing up and punching a fan seated behind him in the face four times, bloodying his face before others stepped in to stop him. "The dude took offense to the couple never sitting down and obstructing his view", Carrigan wrote.

Editor's note: We want to warn you, the video contains graphic material and blood. The two men exchanged more words and then the punches followed.

Kuechly was blitzing around the edge on a play within the ten-yard line, where he attempted to bend around Philadelphia guard Brandon Brooks.

We'll update as more information is available on Kuechly's injury.

NBC Charlotte has identified the Panthers fan in the video and we have attempted to contact him for comment.

A Carolina Panthers spokesman told The Charlotte Observer that the organization was reviewing the incident with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, but police officials say there were no assault reports from last night.

According to police the victim was a 62-year-old man. The behavior exhibited by the perpetrator is unacceptable and will not be condoned at Bank of America Stadium. The victim was treated for his injuries.
