It is the second film of Director-actor duo to cross 30 crores mark on opening day.
The super entertainment series Golmaal is again proving its love from the audience over the box office. Although several star-studded films (including Salman Khan's Eid release Tubelight and SRK's Raees) have been released, none of them could actually go close to the startling figure of Baahubali 2 (Rs 41 Crore).
The fourth episode of Rohit Shetty's hit franchisee i.e. Golmaal Again has done a bumper collection on the first day at the box office while demolishing all the projections of earnings. On Saturday, the Rohit Shetty directorial garnered Rs 28.37 crore taking the total collection to Rs 58.51 crore.
Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu are also part of the movie and playing the important roles. This is possibly the best opening of any Hindi film this year and also stands in comparison with Bahubali - The Conclusion in terms of occupancy at some of the places across the country. Since the film has received positive reviews, it will definitely help the film to sustain well in the weekdays.
Golmaal Again starring Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra opened to an excellent response from the audience as well as from the critics. In fact, not I really liked the first Golmaal. Now the film has Sunday and the whole week, and even after one week, there is no big film to compete with Golmaal Again. So it would be interesting to see which box office records, the film managed to break.
