The Stranger Things Season 2 Final Trailer Will Give You Life

Stranger Things 2 is ushering in its final trailer on Friday the 13th before the sophomore season debuts at the end of the month.

The show's creators have spoken about how they've drawn their inspiration this season from the biggest sequels of the 1980s, such as Terminator 2 and Aliens, and this trailer shows that they have amped up the action and stakes this time around.

Get ready to return to the "Upside Down"-because it's coming whether you're ready or not".

The result is pretty epic, as we seethe gang gear up to go into battle against unknown creatures from the beyond. Netflix just dropped the final trailer for the re-up and it will have you fiending to starting binging the new episodes.

The new season is inspired by slasher films.

. They didn't do this alone, as they had Will's older brother, Jonathan, along with Mike's older brother, Nancy, and her boyfriend, Steve.

There will be more synth.

. The new soundtrack suggests a sound that reverberates from season one, but introduces some new compositions to keep the sonic elements fresh. As the images flash on the screen, fans can hear a woman muttering outloud "sunflower, three to the right, four to the left, rainbow, 450". Expect this sequence to possibly have the same level of significance as "The Numbers" from Lost (4 8 15 16 23 42, in case you forgot). In addition to Astin, the series has also added Paul Reiser (Aliens), Brett Gelman (Jobs), Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers), Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen, and Broadway star Sadie Sink into the mix as well.

The new season will be released October 27 on Netflix and I'm so excited that I just got a nose bleed out of sympathy for Eleven.
