Supporters gathered outside the hotel to catch a glimpse of their heroes as they arrived at the luxury hotel in central Manchester ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday.

Brighton head to Manchester United (LIVE, FREE and in HD on SBS at 1:30am AEDT Sunday) with manager Hughton insisting they must believe they can pull off a shock win.

In their last five games they are unbeaten, winning twice and drawing three times, and they look like a very tough proposition to play against. "At Old Trafford we can not give anything away".

United's last loss at Old Trafford was a defeat by City on Sept 10 previous year. "When we're playing such attacking football, you might sacrifice some other things that you need".

Asked if Brighton could "turn over" Jose Mourinho's team, Hughton said: "Of course we can, but we know what we would have to do to do that and there certainly aren't many teams at our level that are going to go there and win".

Mourinho has confirmed that the Frenchman will provide the much-needed firepower again today, but he will not be able to play more than 70 minutes.

Steven Gerrard has talked up the importance of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Manchester United.

"Bailly and Jones - they are out, but we are okay because we have Smalling, Rojo and Lindelof".

Brighton have never won at Old Trafford, but Hughton is not about to let that worry his team.

'I think they're the best team up until now at this stage of the season.

"What we hope to do is to make a good account of ourselves there and we hope we can do that".

"We are in the League Cup quarter-finals, we have done well so far and in the Champions League, we have 12 points in five games, which is good".

Brighton will bring a five-game unbeaten run to Old Trafford, but the Seagulls have already lost against City and Arsenal this season, and will find it extremely hard to pick up a positive result from Old Trafford.
