Latest leaks also show that the OnePlus 5T will bear resemblance to Oppo R11S. The real news, though, is the lack of side bezels, which seems to be the direction every phone manufacturer is going.
OnePlus on Monday confirmed that the wait to find out what's in store won't be much longer at all.
OnePlus' most recent flagship smartphone was a real stunner on the surface, but a series of issues popped up that left a very bad taste in the mouths of even some of the company's most avid supporters.
The side bezels are almost invisible, and a power button sits on the right panel just below the SIM card tray as seen in the OnePlus 5T. The new teasers by the company hints that OnePlus may launch the flagship phone in New York City first, and later bring to other markets including India.
Apart from these major hikes, the phone is expected to stay true to its original Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM options and the 20MP+ 16MP rear camera combination.
In a blogpost released recently, the company itself confirmed that the OnePlus 5T would release soon.
The tickets will sell for $40 and will grant you access to the event in NY and a chance to meet the OnePlus team and other fans. The OnePlus 5T will be revealed on November 16th at 11AM Eastern Time. However, the front camera will get a bump to 20MP.
Lau revealed that unlike previous flagship smartphones this year, the OnePlus 5T will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack, a decision that is welcomed by many users.
