Gigi Hadid drops out of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Gigi Hadid Has Pulled Out Of This Year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Apparently there are some visa problems with the Victoria's Secret show in China

Page Six is reporting that some of the media expected to attend the show, including bloggers, influencers, and journalists, have been unable to secure visas from the Chinese government and are already canceling their trips.

"It's just a nightmare for all the media trying to cover [the show]", said a jet-setting insider. The model just confirmed this afternoon, however, that she would officially not be heading to China to walk alongside her winged sisters this season. "These TV companies are spending a fortune on it, and they don't even know what they can shoot when they get there".

Four other models were also reportedly denied visas into the country.

Gigi Hadid, who made her debut for the VS fashion show in 2015, announced Thursday that she won't be heading to Shanghai, China, where the show is taking place this year.

Looks like there will be one less Hadid appearing in the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to air on CBS on November 28, but people tasked with covering the event are "on the verge of nervous breakdowns", according to The Post.

The iconic lingerie fashion show is typically in NY but has moved to London and Paris in recent years. Gigi did not give any specific reasons for dropping out at the last minute, but it seems she was pressured to skip the Shanghai show after an offensive video of her resurfaced.

Representatives for Victoria's Secret and IMG Models, which represents Gigi Hadid, did not immediately respond to INSIDER's request for comment.
