HTC to launch dual-camera phones in 2018

HTC's U11+ is a squeezable big-screen wonder

HTC U11 and U11 Plus – What's New

Google has confirmed that HTC has been enlisted as the latest partner in their push of affordable Android One devices, the device in question is recently announced HTC U11 Life.

We should see the U11 Plus and the U11 Life make their debut in 2018. The lower-range U11 Life is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

Known by many, dual rear cameras are not something new in the gadget market across the globe. For selfies, there's a 16 MP front-facing shooter.

I honestly thought HTC had sent the wrong phone in the mail when the U11 Life arrived. At the front, there's an 8-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. So we would see half a dozen phones from the Taiwanese company for the future. Both the smartphone devices by HTC come with an Edge Sense technology through which users can "squeeze" the side frames to use other functions of the smartphones. Since there are hundreds of choices of different types of mid-range phones available in the market, HTC's new phones will definitely going to be a big hit in the market as HTC has planned to launch these phones in the mid-range category. The new HTC middle-ranger also supports Cat.9 LTE in the USA, with peak download speeds of 450Mbps and uploads up to 50Mbps. But while the HTC U11 Life does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, the Moto X4 does. Apart from that, the device also features support for the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa virtual assistants. Out of the box, you'll get Android 7.1 Nougat with Google's stock apps and interface.

The three color options for the HTC U11 Plus are: Amazing Silver, Ceramic Black and Translucent Black. The earbuds feature active noise cancellation and you can even tune them according to your hearing profile to get the best audio experience out of them. Of, and it's worth noting that, as with the standard U11, the headphone jack is gone here, marking one of the first time a budget handset has dropped the port. It offers a almost edge-to-edge display, a massive (especially for HTC) 4000mAh battery, and a cool looking model with a translucent case so that you can see some of the components inside the phone.
