Actor and comedian Louie C.K. has broken his silence after allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced.

On Friday, Louis C.K. released a statement confirming the allegations, which included masturbating in front of women, were true. Adlon also costarred with Louis C.K.in "Lucky Louie", the short-lived 2006-2007 HBO sitcom.

Earlier today, the NY premiere of C.K.'s new film "I Love You, Daddy" was scrapped.

"My family and I are devastated and in shock after the admission of abhorrent behavior by my friend and partner, Louis C.K." she continues. The film was scheduled for a nationwide November 17 opening, but its distributor is now holding off due to current circumstances. "To women! Globally and historically, we're the number one cause of injury and mayhem to women... we're the worst thing that ever happens to them". They co-created her FX show, "Better Things", for which Louis C.K. has also written, or co-written episodes.

Louis C.K., through his publicist, Lewis Kay, declined to respond to The Times regarding the allegations.

'I feel deep sorrow and empathy for the women who have come forward.

'At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true'.

It now has a 58% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, although many of those reviews were from September, when it premiered at the Toronto Film Fest. Stunned and angry, Ms. Corry said she declined, and pointed out that he had a daughter and a pregnant wife.

"Today, FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K. We are canceling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton".

And Netflix announced it was not moving forward with a second stand-up special featuring C.K., citing his "unprofessional and inappropriate behavior with female colleagues". Three of the women said that he exposed himself and masturbated in front of them, one said that he asked her to watch him masturbate and she refused, and another said that Louis CK masturbated while they were on the phone.
