San Jose's Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, starting from the Highway 87 overpass at Santa Clara Street and go along Market Street to San Carlos Street.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. In observance of the day, ShuttleBus-Zoom will offer free rides to veterans and active military with proper identification.
At 11 a.m. the Cohasset VFW Post will be holding a brief program at the Veterans Park at the Harbor.
The grand opening of Cohoes Veterans Memorial Park will be held Saturday, Veterans Day, will begin with a flag raising followed by the park renaming dedication and ribbon cutting.
Washington honored local veterans on Friday night with a parade through Downtown Washington, and a special recognition at the Daviess County Museum on Friday afternoon.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Hingham Town Hall will be hosting a breakfast for military personell and their families, followed by a ceremony at 11 a.m. and a wreath laying. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and will be led by retired Navy Rear Adm. William Copeland Jr.
